Acrobat Reader

Adobe Systems Inc. has produced a format, called Adobe Acrobat, that allows documents and graphics to be read on most personal computers. EEB302 takes advantage of that format, and a number of the readings for the course are posted in it.

You can recognize an Acrobat file by its extention. Each file has a name like "could be pretty long & complex.pdf" in which the pdf tail (called the extent) identifies it. Pdf stands for portable document file.

In order to read a pdf file, you must install Acrobat Reader on your computer. It is free.

If you do not already have it, download it from the net. You can do that by clicking on the following web address: www.adobe.com
