Batrachoidiformes - toadfishes (3 families, 80-90 species) depressed benthic fishes with small anterior Dorsal fin; scaleless or nearly so; Temperate and tropical marine and Neotropical freshwater. Sounds produced by swimmbladder movements and derived musculature. Oyster toadfish.
