ECOL 496J/596J --Plant Population Ecology (1-3 units)
Description: The goal of the class is to give students a good sense of what is going on today in the area of plant population ecology. The subject matter will be plant population ecology including population dynamics, intra- and interspecific competitive, predatory and mutualistic interactions and community dynamics with emphasis on empirical research The format will be a combination of lectures and student presentation/discussions. There will be weekly
reading of recent papers investigating our current understanding of selected topics.


Grading: Regular grades are awarded for this course: A B C D E. Available to qualified students for Pass/Fail Option.
