- First Tara Oceans publication highlights project's holistic approach
- The first official publication from the Tara Oceans Consortium is now online at PLoS Biology, an open-access journal. The article provides an overview of the unique sampling program which proves an opportunity for "a global-scale study of morphological, genetic, and functional biodiversity of plankton organisms in relation to the changing physico-chemical parameters of the oceans ... critical to understanding and managing our fragile oceans." - Malaspina Expedition Returns to Port
