In Fall 2007, the Insect Discovery Program will offer classroom visits to elementary schools in the Tucson area.  The visits are between 45 and 60 minutes long.  Teachers can select from a range of activities including exploration of insect diversity, insect communication, insect anatomy and insect behavior.  There is no charge for visits.  To schedule a visit, please email Kathleen Walker after August 20th - email address: krwalker@ag.arizona.edu.

In Spring 2008, Insect Discovery workshops will be held on Tuesday & Thursday mornings.  Workshops will take place in the Koffler Building, rooms 441 &/or 440 (we will hold two workshops simultaneously on many days -- see schedule below).  The workshops will begin around 9:30 AM to allow for travel time to the University, and will take 2 hours.  Students and teachers are invited to bring a sack lunch for "lunch on the lawn" at the University mall after the session ends.  For more information, please contact Kathleen Walker: krwalker@ag.arizona.edu.
