LBA-Model Intercomparison Project

Based on discussions held during the Carbon synthesis workshop and the 10th LBA-ECO meeting in Brasilia in early October, 2006, we are organizing an LBA biogeochemical/vegetation Model Intercomparison Project (LBA-MIP) for the Amazon of South America.

Our objective is to bring together modeling groups to achieve understanding on how the different models simulate the ecosystems and biogeophysical processes within LBA. This initiative is led by Luis Gustavo de Goncalves, Inez Fung, Humberto da Rocha and Scott Saleska email this Group
