Easy Windows Install:
Windows and Mac OS X users, you will need to download and extract the appropriate driver for the Operating System you are running (See the bottom of the page for driver links). Feel free to stop by for assistance in BSW310E, or call 621-1446.
Open the Printers dialog box: Start-->Settings-->Printers/Faxes and select 'Add Printer' and 'Next'
Select 'Local Printer', then 'Next' (this is counter-intuitive, but correct)
Choose the 'Create a New Port' radio button, and 'Standard TCP/IP Port' from the dropdown list, then 'Next'
The 'Create a New Port' wizard will start, choose 'Next'
Under 'Printer name or IP Address', type in the IP address of the network printer, 128.196.193.153, and choose 'Next'
Under the 'Device Type' drop down menu, choose 'Hewlett Packard Jet Direct' and press 'Next', then 'Finish'
Now Windows needs the printer driver for the printer you're installing. Choose 'Have Disk', and point Windows to the directory where you extracted the printer drivers. Then choose 'Next'.
Under 'Printer Name', type a friendly name for the printer you're installing. This is the name that will show under the main printer list
in most applications.Keep pressing 'Next' until you can press 'Finish' (choose not to print a test page if you wish). Windows will finish installing the printer and you're done!

the 'Preferences' button, and the 'Finishing' tab, choose the 'Print on Both Sides' radio button. Also, under 'Printer Shorcuts' tab,
highlight 'Two-Sided (Duplex) Printing'. and click Apply.
Easy OS X Install:

Open the Printer Utility (Under 'System Preferences' in most later OSX versions)
Click 'Add Printer', then select 'IP Printing' from the drop down menu
Type in the IP address of the printer - 128.196.193.153
