Specialized Advising


Pre-Health Professions Advising Center

Advising services for students with an interest in pre-health professions are available in the Integrated Learning Center, Room 103 (621-7763). Stephanie Rollins, Danielle Isabelle-Berrien (pre-nursing only) and Randi Kent are professional advisors dedicated to providing a full complement of advising services to pre-health professions students. All students are required to complete the general information session workshop prior to calling for an appointment.

Career Services
Advisors in Career Services provide counseling for students regarding various careers and job searching. Resources available to students include opportunities to develop a resume, prepare for interviews, and search for jobs using Wildcat Job Link.

University College (major exploration)
University School provides advising for both declared and undeclared students who are exploring different majors at the U of A. On-line tools available on the University School Major Exploration website can also assist you in examining your interests, skills, and values in order to help you choose an appropriate major.

Pre-Law Advising Office
The term "pre-law" designates students interested in pursuing law school. Advising services for students interested in law are available in the Integrated Learning Center, Room 103 (621-7763). Verlaine Walker is a full-time professional advisor dedicated to providing specialized services to "pre-law" students.
